2024年09月下旬 小石を齧ってばかりのピース ～大宮公園小動物園のカピバラ～

2024年9月下旬の大宮公園小動物園のカピバラのピースです。
この日は開園直後からピースは橋の上で小石を齧っていました。
その後もピースは断続的に一日中小石を齧っていました。
編集してもこれだけ長い動画になりましたが、実際はもっと長い時間をかけて齧っています。
4分22秒の辺りでピースは小石を取り替えましたが、歯を削る場所を石によって変えているのでは？……と思うのです。

@@ろず-n1l Unfortunately Maggie pass away at the beginning of this year 😞. It was pretty sad to me, so I stopped doing videos, I'm planning start again soon. Capy is fine😀, I just saw him last week. Looks pretty healthy but is alone now 😶.

He chews pebbles to sharpen his teeth, but in the past, when he was scolded by La Mer, he would often chew pebbles, so maybe it was a calming effect for him. It's like chewing gum.
